Restaurant Vela offers a mixed experience that leaves room for improvement. Here is a detailed breakdown of our visit: Food We ordered a selection of dishes, including pizza, sea bass, and salad as main courses, and anchovies, salad, and pâté as starters. The quality of the food was acceptable but far from extraordinary. Portions were adequate but not particularly generous. While the flavors were decent, they lacked the refinement or creativity expected at this price point. Overall, the food was passable in terms of quality, quantity, and value. Ambiance The restaurant's interior is pleasant but somewhat cramped. The limited space between tables could become uncomfortable during busy hours, making the overall atmosphere feel crowded and potentially overwhelming for diners seeking a more relaxed experience. Service The service was satisfactory—neither remarkable nor disappointing. Staff were polite and efficient in attending to our needs, but there was no standout effort to elevate the dining experience. Menu Restaurant Vela operates solely on an à la carte basis and does not offer a daily menu. While the menu provides varied options, the dishes fail to justify the price range of €30–€40 per person. For this cost, one might expect a higher level of culinary execution or more memorable flavors. Conclusion Restaurant Vela delivers an average dining experience that does not fully justify its pricing. While the ambiance and service are acceptable, the food lacks distinction, making it difficult to recommend for those seeking exceptional value for money.

Very nice restaurant lovely tables good service The food I felt was to a very high standard lovely starters good fillet steak pizza was lovely and amazing salad and chips and beautiful deserts as well. I did feel that the waiters all seem very stressed and the owner as well I felt that they maybe need to ask you the customer are you ok sir or madam and interact with you a bit more they all seem very stressed to me they do not talk to you just bring the food the bill and walk off. Plus I felt it was a little bit expensive there. Would I go back 100% I would food was good all round

We were a decent sized group, so we ordered there set paella menus for 2. Three separate dishes, all with its own bravas, salad and desert. We also ordered some tapas and starters, which ended up being too much food, but were also tasty. The squid ink paella was especially nice, although they were all good. It is very well priced and staff was very friendly with us. I would definitely recommend going to this place in a bigger group. This was you can try the different paellas, and the more you are the likelier it becomes you are able to finish all the food.

The reason you go to this place is to feel like you're somewhere fancy, but the truth is you're paying 20 euros for 4 mouthfuls of cod, half a potato, half a carrot and half a cucumber. The beer is also extremely overpriced at 4.80 a pint and we also got the wrong order. We ordered salmon and got a salmon pizza. We also ordered beers which never arrived so we asked again and then they put the beers we didn't receive on the bill. They were happy to correct the mistake, but by that point we knew we were never coming back. Don't go here if you want to feel full after eating. You come here to eat stuff that only looks good, but portions are small and taste is average. The male waiting staff also have trouble taking basic orders. They seem to have anxiety or stress when doing their job as they always seem tense...
