Mario's — Restaurant in El Ejido

Twice my wife had meals at this place and twice the meals were sub standard. First one we complained that the entrecot beef steak was sinuey, and tough to eat, nothing was done about it. Today my wife decided to have the honey glazed rack of ribs, firstly they came as separate pieces, and secondly they were so hard, (after being heated up more than once) that she could not even cut the meat, and was only able to rip it, the saute potatoes were also re-heated from goodness knows when, we complained again, I was told very rudely we only went there to complain and to pay the bill and not to return. The so called manager was very rude to me and basically threw us out, yes the picture looks lovely but it was not nice at all. We will never return to that place and do not recommend it...

Llevamos años acudiendo al Mario’s, en todas las estaciones, y cada vez estamos notando que la calidad empeora. Nuestra impresión es que cada vez les faltan más tapas de las que ponen en la carta, y que la cantidad y la calidad es muy irregular. Quizás sea injusto escribir la reseña ahora y no cuando teníamos mejor concepto del bar, pero lo hago con el objetivo de que puedan rectificar algunos errores. Entre ellos destaco uno, que se repite siempre (a menos que lo sepas de antemano): si pido una caña, quiero una caña y no un tubo, que por supuesto se cobra a precio de tubo. Si no servís en formato caña, el servicio debería avisar de antemano.

Aviso también, aunque por supuesto no es culpa de los dueños, de que sentarse en la terraza que está al aire libre (tienen otra cerrada), en días de viento puede ser bastante insoportable (es un sitio donde pega especialmente fuerte).
