Cafe tapas Bar la Brasa — Restaurant in el Prat de Llobregat

Fantastic overall experience! As tourists, my wife and I wanted to get out and experience the food, people and atmosphere of Barcelona. We could not have made a better choice for lunch. Our waitress was very understanding and patient with us as we used Google translate to determine our orders. She took the time to give great detail in her answers to our questions. Unfortunately this has not been our experience everywhere we have gone so this stood out to us... She was fantastic and our food was Phenomenal! I had the lamb chops and my wife a grilled chicken sandwich. Flavor was absolutely delish! Our only issue was that we ate outdoors and we had a fly that was almost as hungry as we were. If he would have gotten any closer, he was going to find out just how hungry I was LOL...

Its a little neighborhood restaurant with quite a menu. Portions are huge, unbeknownst to us. So we ordered the goat cheese salad,Andalusian beach squid, tempura battered eggplant AND, Moroccan skewer with tomato bread. Could have fed four people. Goat cheese salad was off the hook with walnuts, sunflower seeds, shaved carrots and other stuff…. Best salad Ive had in Barcelona, eggplant Great! Moroccan skewers good. Battered calamari was as expected. Very little English spoken here so break out your translating App. On the way out I noticed the 2 refrigerators, one with dry aged beef, the other with precut steaks, porterhouse, t-bone, tomahawk all at least 1&1/4” cuts! We ate much better dinner for less than we paid for lunch at Airport Hotel Barcelona. Taxis were easy to obtain and Uber works well even out here...

I recently dined at Cafe Tapas Bar La Brasa in El Prat, and while the inside atmosphere wasn’t the highlight of the experience, we sat outside and the food more than made up for it. As a meat lover, I was thoroughly impressed by the food quality. The meat was well cooked tender, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for.

Although the ambiance could use a little improvement, the fantastic food is what makes worth visiting. The staff was very efficient and attentive, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a casual meal around the Barcelona airport area, especially if you’re in the mood for grilled meats.

I’ll definitely return...
