Avoid at all costs! An incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience.
We arrived around 7am when the restaurant was still quiet. We were seated and served quickly at first, which gave us some hope. But as the place began to fill up, the service completely fell apart. No check-backs, no attention to any of the tables. We watched several groups walk in, sit down, wait far too long, and eventually just leave. In the end, like many others, we had to get up and queue at the till—standing behind other guests who were also fed up and trying to pay or order directly, since no staff were attending to tables. And this is supposed to be a table service restaurant.
We were initially drawn in by the promise of a “Full English Breakfast”—advertised at 15€, which is steep, but we were willing to give it a try. Big mistake. The only vaguely English thing about the plate was a small spoonful of beans and two sad limp strips of what I can only call bratty bacon. The toast was toasted on one side and soft on the other, the egg was rubbery and cold as if cooked in the microwave, the tomatoes were cold slices straight out of the fridge, the mushrooms were tinned and served cold, and instead of an English sausage, we got a bland, dry butifarra. As a Brit living in Spain, I felt second-hand embarrassment. If you can’t do a dish justice, especially one from another culture, don’t advertise it.
We also ordered two orange juices at 6.50€ each—and they were nothing special. In total, we paid 50€ for two awful breakfasts, two juices, and a coffee. Honestly, it’s daylight robbery.
If you’re at the airport and thinking about trying this place—don’t. Save your time, your money, and...
Read moreWe decided to give this restaurant a try while we waited for our flight back home. Lined up for a few minutes before the family waiting in front of us gave up waiting and left. We kept waiting for a host or someone to show up, but all servers were too busy to even acknowledge the line, though there were quite a few tables empty. After a few minutes my senior father decides to approach a server that was behind the bar, to ask about the wait time to what the very rude and poor mannered guy answered “YOU HAVE TO WAIT”…no good afternoon or hello just a VERY rude answer before my father even had the chance to ask anything. I went in and asked for the manager and explained what happened to what she immediately started gaslighting and pretending it didn’t happen and proceeded to ignore me. We left after this terrible treatment, and by the rating and other reviews I’m seeing here looks like their service is terrible and the food not much better. As we were leaving we saw the rude server sitting having coffee in the back of the restaurant, he smiled and mocked us. The rude server goes by the name of Marco, he should be closely supervised and/or put under disciplinary action same goes for the “so...
Read moreIf I could give a zero, I would. Service was fine, but the food was terrible. I got a chewy salty Iberian pork with potatoes plate, which I regretted eating. The piece of pork I received was about 3 oz and over cooked to the point it was difficult to cut and even more so to chew. I was looking forward to trying Iberian pork since I’ve head so much about how great it is. My wife ordered the salmon and veggies. Oh boy, where to start. Hers was over cooked and tasteless. The three drink coaster sized half inch thick pieces she received were inedible. We sent that and the terribly pre frozen mushy vegetables back. She decided to get a “prawn” salad, instead. That was sad, really. I was feeling bad for this place at this point. The “prawns” were tiny little shrimp that tasted like rubber. And the salad was topped with about 4 oz of something that resembled mayonnaise. They didn’t charge us for my wife’s salmon, but since I already ate that pork, the damage may already be done. Avoid this dump at all cost, unless you’re just stopping in for a beer before your flight. Tough to mess up opening a beer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they could figure out how to screw...
