I used to come to this place every time I visited El Puero. This time however, I ordered myself a drink at the bar and the moment I started looking for a place to sit, the staff told me they’re closing - it was 20 min. before closing time. I stayed there standing with my drink in the middle of the bar not knowing what to do. All tables were empty, but they suggested me to stand at the bar. I would not mind to have my drink at the bar if they were not so rude in the first place and if they had told me they were closing just before they sold me the drink. I never felt so disrespected in a bar. Very disappointed, because it is a very charming place, but there is no desire to come back...
Read moreOne of my favorite places in El Puerto de Santa María. Lots of locals - interesting to watch the interaction between guests and people walking by. Everyone seems to know everyone :-) Friendly service (waiters) who greet you even when walking by if they recognize you. Have been here basically daily to have at least a coffee and mollete. Definitely worth checking out. PS - No latte art to be expected but that totally fine. Here it’s the overall feeling...
