Our experience at this restaurant was disastrous from the moment we arrived. The only redeeming factor was a helpful employee named German. Unfortunately, everything else was a nightmare:
Upon arrival, we found a queue at the entrance for those with reservations, yet people were skipping ahead because the hostess was completely inattentive to her duties. It was frustrating and disorganized. To make matters worse, the hostess was extremely rude both at the beginning and the end of our visit. She even insulted my friend as we were leaving, which was beyond unacceptable. We had a reservation for 10 PM. We arrived on time, placed our orders for both starters and main courses, but things only got worse from there. At 11 PM, when the main courses finally arrived, one of the dishes was incorrect. The server took it back to the kitchen, and in just 2 minutes, the replacement dish arrived in a terrible state—cold and tasteless. We complained again, and the waiter offered us a different dish, but a few minutes later, he returned to inform us that the kitchen had closed and they wouldn’t make a new dish, even though it was their mistake. The manager never bothered to come to our table to apologize or address the situation, choosing instead to hide behind the staff. This level of disregard for customers is appalling. While the restaurant itself is beautiful and a great spot to watch the sunset, the dinner service is absolutely abysmal. I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here for dinner. We own an apartment overlooking Isabella’s, we watch the staff emptying bottles in the recycling twice daily, bottles rolling about over the road, bottles crashing into the bottle banks having a great time.. Unfortunately this is not the staff we encountered on our visit, no smiling, no pleasantry’s. Glasses and bottles slammed down on the table with no consideration of who the drinks are for. Drinks put on wrong tables, we point this out after 20minutes and a new drink is brought out with no apology. There must be 10-15 staff members and not one would I say came across as friendly or courteous or appear to want customers to return. The food was pretty good however a couple of the dishes were warm and not piping hot unfortunately. My wife was there with a friend the week before and apparently it was a totally different experience hence her return visit. On leaving with a €300 bill for 5 people I was asked how was everything I just said “ disappointed “ and no questions were asked as to why by the lady at the reception ? Other restaurants in the area like Okapi are always happy and courteous and cost half the price. I would say in this case they are very lucky to have the location they do and they work well on their social media so returning customers are not needed as plenty of new customers...

We had to wait one hour to have dinner even though they had a lot of empty tables while we waited. Good food but nothing special. Without any prior notice, at 00h we ordered dessert and they brought the bill saying the kitchen was closed even though reservations online were open until 23.30h on the website. Staff didn’t know anything about the wines and food they were serving. Honestly, very disappointing. The only good thing about the restaurant were the views. Not a place to come back. The ‘beach club’ title they are offering is not at all what they are. Just a baseline restaurant with good views.
