Nice and friendly, solid tapas, quality drinks. For someone used to German prices, the tapas are on the expensive side, but YMMV. Had a Camenbert fresh from the oven with honey and spices, codfish croquets, baby squid and diced pan-deepfried potatos. The Panna Cotta has a great Maracuja sirup topping, and tastes of real cream, but at the current temperatures it was quickly melting. The Mousse au Chocolat was nice (personally, I'd skip the cream on top, e.g., for a nice and tangy fruit, but that's just me).

The house white was nice — with a bouquet of apricots, a hint of lemon and some slight undertone of freshly mown grass, it delivered a welcome refreshment. Would like to try again, and compare a freshly uncorked bottle with one which had some moments of a rest, as well as different temperatures. I guess it has a sweet spot, so: YMMV if you try another day.

Noted that the G&T with Hendrick's is served with Fever Tree tonic, with is definitely an enjoyable pairing.

The staff speaks at least four languages. They were nice, attentive and fast, and still laid back. Went without a booking, got one of the reserved tables for one hour which was perfect.

Will try again....

Not the place we had expected. Quite expensive for what you get. The food is good but just ordinary. Small portions. The seating inside is very bad. The bench you sit on is far too low and the stool you sit on for a meal is very uncomfortable. Very uneasy. Drinks are expensive. A bottle of cava 30/35 euros. Dessert: a single thin french pancake with some whipped cream 5,50 euro . Price/quality/portions is a bit over the top. Ok, they might have a nice (not that big) terrace where you can watch the sunset but then .... I prefer the setting of Isabella where you have more for your money and a far better view/seating for the sunset, etc. Sorry. I am glad we tried this place and see for ourselves what it was like as people were raving about it but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The only very very positive thing about this place is the friendlyness of its owners. They score a 10 but for all the rest we give them...

We had a very unusual experience at this restaurant. The setting is absolutely stunning — right by the coast with beautiful views — and the food was genuinely excellent. However, our evening was unfortunately overshadowed by the behaviour of one particular waiter.

Despite having a booking and being polite throughout, we were greeted with sarcasm which we thought was a joke but then realised was rude when we were told to shut up after saying thank you for the food and he continuously mocked us the whole evening. It was clear he had an issue with us being British, which was upsetting and completely unprovoked. I’ve never encountered such unprofessional service in any restaurant before.

It’s a real shame, as the rest of the staff were absolutely lovely, especially Ayub, who was warm and welcoming. The attitude of that one waiter really let down what could have been a wonderful dining experience in an otherwise...

Dinner on a Sunday night in August, the best classic tapas meal I had during 1 week in Menorca. The ambience is wonderful as the restaurant is set in between the alleys between the seafront apartments, with various levels of seating and views over to the water. Food was excellent, as a vegetarian I was really impressed by the level of choice and how good the dishes were - vegetarian food was not an afterthought. Dishes in order of preference (but in reality all were great) : Burata with tomato carpaccio, Tortilla omelette, panne con tomate, croquettas, padron peppers Worth booking if you know you are staying near Fornells
