(I made an earlier review, but I'm updating this with my most recent visit's thoughts)
Last night, I was lucky enough to taste the Buccatini amatriciana and it was fantastic! Amatriciana is one of those wonderful sauces that is very "simple", but a good one and a bad one are miles apart. This one was bursting with flavor and tasted fantastic. The pasta was a bit more al dente than I'm used to, but that wasn't a problem at all. That and the flavorful sauce (plus the tasty drinks) were a stellar combination.
The chef and server were both very kind and helpful, and made for a fantastic experience. Also, when we arrived, it was absolutely packed, so be forewarned. There's a reason this place is popular!
I hope to come back again...

The chef asked permission to bring us a few starters of his choosing. Each one was superb - house-marinated sardines and salmon, a gorgeous cheese platter, and a baked eggplant dish with mozzarella and the most chewy and delectable focaccia. We specifically came for the cacio e pepe pasta which didn't disappoint, and we loved the ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. We were treated like valued guests, and we can't wait...

We ate there last night and it was delicious- rare marinaded roast beef and a roasted aubergine dish with tangy tomato and cheese gently baked to start and then we both had home made pasta dishes. Really good!!! The chef greets you and suggests some specials and the waitress recommended a really nice bottle of wine Next time you’re near try it - you won’t be...
