El 9 Suprem Restaurant — Restaurant in Figueres

There is a plate charge of 12€ even if you don’t order anything off the first course or 2nd course offerings. Had we known this we would have just paid the €16 and made selections. My husband wasn’t that hungry so ordered something off the additional selections. I ordered off the menu del dia. We were not given an ala carte menu. It wasn’t made clear to us what all was included so when it came time to pay, the bill was €42 which was a lot considering what we ate. We declined the wine (too early for us to drink) did not have coffee, shared one bottle of water and one dessert. My husband only had some pot stickers which we mistakenly thought were ala carte at €9. Shame on us for not being clear on what was included in the meal but shame on them for not explaining to us that for £4 more euro we could actually get food. I am sure if there wasn’t the language barrier it would have been clearer. And it would have been good customer service after we questioned the bill if they would have offered us SOMETHING for the €12 to take with us like a coffee or additional dessert…. We didn’t press it as we had tickets to the Dali museum and were out of time. It’s too bad as the food was very good and nicely presented. We didn’t have reservations but were able to sit at the counter only after asking. I got the impression that they don’t really want tourists at...

Stopped here for lunch before braving the crowds at the Dali museum. We booked late the night before by email and it was confirmed shortly after. It opened at 1pm (Google times were wrong) and was already packed with locals when we got there shortly afterwards. We were greeted warmly and we had a delicious and cheap set meal. The kids loved their pasta and we had the cannelloni and salmon salad starter and paella and fried fish for main. Great deal for €16 including dessert. Portions weren’t huge (can’t have it all!) but there were options to add bigger dishes for extra. Well worth going to if you’re in town. We went on market day (Thursday) and we had to park about 15 mins away as we weren’t sure of the parking rules. But it seems on non market days there’s free...

This is a best value for money in terms of quality for food and service!! The restaurant is tastefully decorated, bright, airy and clean.

Luckily we made a reservation for lunch. The restaurant was full in mid-week. The server was attentive, we were quickly seated

The 3-course menu of the day at 14.50€. Fish cakes with a bisque of homard, I could taste the sweetness of the fish, it was simply delicious. The server brought out the huge pan of seafood rice to show us that it was piping hot fresh out of the stove from the kitchen. Needless to say it was mouth-watering. The tiramisu was very good, 2 coffees to wrap up our meal came up to 30.50€.

We are planning on returning very soon. Thank you for such a great lunch...
