Dalí’s art is most of the time hard to understand, however, his jewel’s designs condensate every bit of his imagination, skill and technical geniusness (some designs blend mechanics and jewelery) at a brilliant level (pun intended). Please note, nevertheless, that although the designs are his exclusively, the actual jewels were elaborated by two NY jewelers and not by Dalí himself.

The Dalí Jewels exhibition is just extraordinary for it's exhibits of Dali designed pieces of jewellery. Much of the collection is some of the most unique items that combine imagination of the man with the exquisite, ornate, and just plain dream like desires. I especially love the pomegranate heart, the honeycomb heart, Explosion and the tree of life.
