When Chaos Meets Fine Dining

So, we came as a group of nearly 20, expecting a fun night out at what is supposed to be one of Formentera’s upscale spots. Spoiler alert: it was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.

From the get-go, the staff made sure we knew we were an inconvenience. Friendly service? Nope. Instead, we got rushed along with a side of attitude, almost like they couldn’t wait for us to leave—except we ended up staying way longer than expected. Why? Oh, because they forgot to bring our main courses! Yes, after the starters, the waiter asked what desserts we wanted. You read that right: desserts… before the mains. It felt like we were stuck in some bizarre restaurant parallel universe.

After a leisurely 1.5-hour wait (and a few hangry conversations later), the main courses finally showed up. Plates were practically slammed on the table, and there was a guessing game about who ordered what. And don’t get me started on the food. The €26 burger? Let’s just say, the price didn’t match the quality—it felt like a fast-food joint was moonlighting as a luxury venue.

Oh, and the highlight reel! My friend’s salad mysteriously disappeared while he was in the restroom, cleared away like they were on some kind of mission to make room for… well, I’m not sure what, because no one was rushing to bring us food.

But the pièce de résistance? The €18 plate of Bolognese. It was tasty, I’ll give them that. However, the portion size exactly matched the kids’ menu version, which costs €10. For science, I ordered the kids’ version after polishing off my “adult” portion and surprise, surprise—it was exactly the same size (see photos). A true rip-off moment.

So, if you’re looking for overpriced food, forgetful and arrogant staff, and a side of stress with your meal, this place is calling your name. Otherwise, take your euros and your...

[Sep.'20] We came to check out dispite the bad experience two years ago -the place is worth it!-. We came without reservation and around sunset, so the answer was "no-way". In other times we could have fit but this is the place in the island following we have seen following covid-19 rules more strictly -good point-.

The place has been a bit refurbished since last time: same spirit but somehow a bit more fashion than hippie as it used to be.

We still asked for a mojito to take-away on the beach in order to enjoy the sun-set... Mistake!!! Unfortunately the mojito was the worst mojito we ever took in the island -and it is 10 years coming already-.

[July'18] We were quite disappointed this time considering we came mainly to have dinner.

Menu changed since last year: it is shorter, more expensive, dishes have less quantity and definitely less quality.

Still, definitely a must because of the freak deco and -especially- to let the children see the Alien show on Wed and Fri, but we won't come again for the restaurant, only for drinks at sunset or for the parties till late hours.

Don’t go to this place. Everything was kind of ok in the beginning, even though was overpriced and the place need some restoration my family and I were enjoying, then the manage arrived and went to my table and shouted at me saying “PUT SOME CLOTHES ON WE ARE IN A RESTAURANT” I was right in front the beach in 30 degrees without any AC or fan in that horrible place and the manager who should actually make sure everything was fine for me shouted at me in front of my husband mother in law and father in law, THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE, IF it was rule (which a completely disagree because the restaurant didn’t provide any type of refresher) she could talk in a very polite and discreet way, even other customers heard she yelling at me, and RIGHT AFTER a woman sat in a table wearing bikinis and she didn’t say A WORD. I left right away and I don’t recommend anyone to go to a place that doesn’t have the minimums of skills in how to...

Ok. Let’s get this over with quickly.we where sat next to a shack that smells like it was stuffed with rotting roadkill. Don’t even start on the prices.horroundes I paid 26 euros on the burger The first bite I took transported me to a garbage dump, it fell apart and was like chewing plastic and wax. Great for unemotionless robots. They stuffed the burgers with a whole lot of nothing. The service was slow paced and awkward. My poor freind felt overwhelmed when a lady started talking to him about kokos.not his fault he can’t speak Spanish. The design is tacky, old and outdated,it’s a whole mix of childish birthday party adult club. My experience was peculiar. The staff looked bored and underpaid, this is great for a blind, deaf, 5 year old. Don’t trust any review here.
