Vogamarí — Restaurant in Formentera

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! This restaurant is a total rip-off and has the worst service you can experience! The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, and we sat at a free table. Nobody attended to us for 20 minutes, and we finally took a menu ourselves because we were hungry and annoyed. During this time, another couple arrived and were seated at the table next to us, which had been nicely decorated for them, and they were able to order food right away.

When someone finally came to take our order, they told us the kitchen was closed. Then, another person came and said we could still place an order. The food we received was terrible: the croquettes were burned, and the squid was mostly fried batter with almost no meat. The drinks had a lot of ice, and my glass was half empty (see the picture).

Surprisingly (or not), they were very quick to clean up (they took my boyfriend's plate while he was still eating) and brought the bill within one minute. It was a terrible experience and a rip-off. We paid 68 euros for this awful experience....

Avoid at all point! We have been attacked by owner of the restaurant for singing «Happy Birthday» during our lunch!

My family came to this restaurant for lunch to celebrate my belated birthday. We started singing happy birthday and were aggressively told by the table next to us to “shut up.” The table was glaring at us, and a man even came up to where I was sitting to stand over me. I asked him to stop invading my personal space because I was extremely uncomfortable. I asked him a few times before he went to get the manager, who grabbed my stepdad by his shirt. He ripped it and we were kicked out by all of the waiters.

My birthday was completely ruined and I’m obviously confused and disappointed about why we were treated this way. I don’t get to see my family often as I live in another country, and having this experience ruined for no reason was ridiculous. Everyone was extremely rude and aggressive, and we will definitely warn everyone to stay away from this...

Can’t comment on food as I didn’t even have the chance to eat. Booked a table, arrived, nobody welcoming us, waiters running all over with restaurant still half empty (13:45). Offered to seat us in the “almost” bathroom table with the rest of the restaurant empty mentioning that was fully booked and people were about to come, fine but still questionable seen the larga availability. Tried to ask for another table but no waiters was caring, speaking quickly while still running. Again, can’t comment on the food but felt really unwelcome l, as they have an unbeatable location which allows them to be able to not care for all clients. There were plenty of ways to make us feel welcome even with a crappy table, just did not care, seasonal workers and no leadership, unlike es codol restaurant just nearby, more expensive but much better service.
