Es ministre — Restaurant in Formentera

We went on 27 May 2025; the food was nice and well presented, although the strawberry’s in the dessert were a bit dry (not fresh), rest of the food tasted delicous..

What caused a lot of stress was, although they had plenty staff, was the particular ‘style’. Ordering was fast, responding to other requests was fast, but what was also fast was how they removed items from the table. One of the geusts went to the bathroom and food was taken away.. and had not finished… 🙁 I am pretty sure I was stll finishing my glass of wine, and oeps, gone in a split second. 🤨 Instead of dessert one ordered olives and while she was still eating/enjoying the olives whilst we had dessert, it got removed from in a blink of an eye… 😳 I got really nervous about it as I had to keep a constant eye on our food and drinks everytime a waiter passed by..

There was one waiter in particular that seemed very stressfull, directing and pushing other staff. He has a ADHD disorder (sorry, but true). We asked for the bill, he came with the payment terminal and started to type the amount, then he got distracted and started to help on another table, them started to order a colleague on another table, then he walked away to another colleague, glasses fell on the ground, then he started to clean the mess.. and totaly forgot what he was doing before… and we are waiting and waiting..

All and all it was very stressful, it is far from a relax atmosphere that is in keeping with the price level. And the restaurant was not even full or did not have...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

We had lunch at this place where the location is fabolous, directly on the beach of Illetes.

The loation is a jewel and they could have a pearl of a restaurant. You will find instead:

VERY BAD service: you enter the restaurant and nobody looks after you or asks if you want to drink or eat something. We waited 15 minutes and a line was behind us that was waiting too. FINALLY we asked if we can be seated, they gave us a DIRTY table and let us wait 30 long minutes till we could order. Of course we asked again if we could order, they did not come to ask. The waiters are NOT professional, they fighted between them instead of working.

Please note we visited the restaurant in october, there were not many people and maybe 5/6 waiters available? How is it in August when the island is full then?;

CRAZY PRICES: Ok, they prices are listed at the entrance and on the restaurant, as the owner responds to all the other reviews BUT I expect HIGH QUALITY FOOD and exceptional dishes for this prices but that was not the case. Maybe because we are at the end of season?.

Don’t waste your money in this place. We gave one star because we couldn’t give less.

Please improve your service. If you cant handle so many tables reduce your space but offer people a great...

I had a bad emergency women problem so I asked the staff to please use their toilet, which I waited crossed leg, nervous as expected for the toilet 10 minutes in a line. For another staff to tell me unless I buy something I can’t use the toilet, I explained the problem which by this point it’s really bad, she just shrugged her shoulders and said I’m sorry it’s impossible for you to use this, you have to use the one on the beach down at the bottom. I was so nervous that everything was now exposed to my problem I felt so sick.

The beach toilet could be smelt before you can see it, no toilet paper or running water, I was forced to get tissue from a stranger and stand behind a board on the beach to sort myself so I can make it back to the main shops to get something and go somewhere to help.

I’ve never felt so degraded in my entire life, where is the human decency in this and especially from a women.

Just to say this was a tall, thin, short haired, blonde Middle Aged women working on Friday 1st September 2023 at 5:36pm to be exact as I had taken a photo of the company sign to do this report. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to never go to this restaurant down to...
