It is sadly a very cute spot but with a terrible service and the prices are totally out of control vs the food quality and quantity.
The quantity in the plates is absolutely ridiculous when you see what you pay for.
Service is extremely slow. Not really coordinated. Took 25mn to get our cocktails. Sides arrived 10mn before the meat.
Tuna tartare had a very weird taste. We could not eat it. Calamari were soso. Sausages were good.
Meat comes totally undercooked and you will see everyone questioning and getting a little brasero at the table to finish to cook it. I find for that price being really a cheap service. We left with a bill of 280 euros of meat for 6. To give you an idea that is 4 small slices / person…. So 46 euros / personne for half a steak lol… this is just ridiculous.
It was the second time we went there and definitely the last one. It definitely feels like a scam. You have way more better options on the island at a more normal price.

Read moreMalaguena is one of our favorite restaurants in all of our travels. Gorgeous setting, highest quality food, excellent menu choices, friendliest service with the nicest staff. We have been coming for three years, and always look forward to returning to try something new. This time we had ceviche and croquettes as starters, shared for main course a T-bone steak (from Galicia) with roasted potatoes, tiramisu for dessert. The mini loaf of bread with melted butter and rosemary sprig … well, think perfection! Not inexpensive but, in our view, priced appropriately. Reservation a must. Sit outside for best atmosphere and fun people watching. A final mille grazie to the hosts and servers. Your friendliness really made our 40th anniversary celebration even...
Read moreOne of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in, the venue is ascetically beautiful. We were served by a very professional waiter called Andrea's (I hope I've got his name correct) who listened to our preferences and suggested dishes that were absolutely sensational. We went for the chateaubriand which was out of this world, could easily feed 3/4 people, seems expensive at first but once it arrives on the table it is worth every euro. The white chocolate cheesecake was also very good. I look forward to returning to this amazing restaurant when I come back...
