This place is fantastic! We went one afternoon for lunch in the middle of biking around the island. There were two of us and we had a seafood paella: it was one of the best paella I’ve ever had (and yes, I’ve had many). The seafood was super fresh and the rice was divine! I know some people prefer the rice a bit crispy, but I would rather it be fully cooked and moist, and this one was exactly that. For dessert, we had a maracuya and merengue tart: wow! I love lemon merengue and am always looking for a good lemon tart, but I think this was actually better! The tart was, well, a bit tart like it should be, and the merengue was just sweet enough and even browned on the top. And finally, the service and atmosphere here was superb. The waitstaff was super friendly, and you just can’t beat the view. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the hostess sat us at a table with a view of the water, and the breeze was phenomenal. Altogether an absolutely memorable meal. I hope it stays great because I’ll absolutely go there again the next time I’m...
Read moreVisted for food today. Very expensive menu (for example €5 for a water or €66 euro for sharing platter of paella) but felt it was ok as paying for the beautiful beach views. Unfortunately, staff hugely made the experience poor...i left feeling very annoyed because the waitress gave the bill and stood over me and my family while we counted our cash to pay for the meal....literally stood for 3 minutes or so while we sorted out our payment. I dont know if the restaurant has experienced some 'dine and dash' customers, but I found this rude behaviour from a waitress who seemed to have pre-judged and wrongly assumed we were a certain 'type'. I am a company director, and im in a fortunate position where although the menu was expensive, it was no problem. However, she seemed to have a problem with us. For this reason I...
Read moreEs Cupinà became today my preferred restaurant in the island as the former one (Es Codol Foradat) almost doubled the price (although it keeps great anyway).
Es Cupinà has great service, great food and the today we had one of the best tables in the restaurant (as we booked the day before -tip-).
We tasted the fideua (veeeery good) and we shared multiple starters: salmon tartar, clams, mussels, Spanish omelette -a must here-,,... all of the excellent except mussels "mariners" where the source had a strange tasting.
It is true that it is also a bit overpriced, but if get one of the front view tables and the same quality as of today I think it is worth it for once -or twice ;-) -.
