The best dinning experience in the whole island, and it came as a total surprise. My partner and me were delighted. After going out for lunch/dinner in most of the top 10 recommended restaurants in the island, the last night of our trip we decided to stay at the hotel, enjoying Cala Saona's sunset. It turns out this little gem was hidden in plain sight, and it was better than all the restaurants we tried! We had the tasting menu, full of punchy flavours, a blend of tradition and innovation. Fairly priced for the quality. Can't really understand the negative reviews, as this is quite close to a Michelin-starred restaurant, and we've been to a few to know what makes...

¡Espectacular! Desde el primer momento en que llegamos, supimos que estábamos a punto de disfrutar de una cena excepcional, pero lo que no esperábamos era ser testigos de lo que consideramos la mejor cena de nuestras vidas. Y eso que hemos tenido el placer de cenar en varios restaurantes con estrella. Pero, este lugar en Formentera ha superado con creces cualquier expectativa. El entorno es inigualable, con la mejor puesta de sol que puedas imaginar. No hay un solo detalle que no refleje la pasión y dedicación del equipo que está detrás de esta obra maestra. Desde el primer saludo, se siente la profesionalidad y el entusiasmo del personal, quienes hicieron de nuestra noche algo verdaderamente especial. La cocina es de una calidad excepcional. Cada plato es una obra de arte con una presentación impecable y sabores que te transportan. El menú es generoso y abundante. Los entrantes son un adelanto de la creatividad y el dominio técnico que vendrá después, llevándonos de sorpresa en sorpresa. Y cuando pensábamos que la noche no podía mejorar, llegaron los postres, que fueron el broche de oro a una experiencia culinaria sin igual. Cada bocado fue un deleite, una combinación perfecta de sabores y texturas, y todavía quedaban algunas sorpresas que preferimos no revelar para mantener el misterio. Este restaurante es, sin duda, una experiencia que hay que vivir. Cada vez que volvamos a Formentera, repetiremos sin pensarlo. Excellent experience. This is definitely and up and coming Michelin star. Service was impeccable, food was dreamy - the flavours and the stories were perfect. We left full but not too much, which is exactly what you want. The wine offering was 10/10. Little details before (they rang us the day before to arrange to go a bit earlier to watch the sunset), throughout and a little present at the end completed the experience. Absolutely...
