After a hot and busy morning driving around El Teide, this restaurant was just what we needed. We sat in the cool air under the trees in the old town square of Güimar. It was very relaxing. There were many local specialities on the menu. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Also, many dishes came in both small or large portions. We had a delightful, simple lunch...

Maybe because it's off-season now, but we found the food very basic and limited, nothing like th other reviews/photos. Also the online English menu didn't work and the Spanish menu was outdated, as our first 4 choices were not available. Don't expect a high standard, but it gets the job done, and the terrace is nicely situated on the square and the waiters are friendly...

Bueno, una experiencia decepcionante... fuimos unos amigos a tomar unas cervezas y a picar algo, unos champiñones rellenos fuera de carta decentes (aunque pequeños, 3€ c/u, aunque al ofrecerlos se equivocaron con el precio, esto fue de todas formas solventado con el dueño del local), un queso asado muy bueno, pero la gran decepción llega cuando pedimos unas papas fritas y nos traen mal las raciones, pedimos dos raciones grandes porque éramos bastantes, pero nos sirvieron dos platos pequeños (propios de servir una tapa, esto fue solventado a posteriori, todo sea dicho) pero a un precio elevado, a mi parecer. Y el colofón: el servicio de un señor que no daba pie con bola, incluso tiró una cerveza por encima a una persona y ni disculpas... Otro tema es el que se cobre servicio de pan incluso a las personas que no estaban comiendo, pero bueno por no discutir más se dejó así.

La salsa de bacon bastante buena la verdad, pero el "ali oli" no sabía a nada.
