Went to this restaurant on our last night in beautiful Gaucin. Came across this place by accident and quite late 10.55pm. They welcomed us and agreed to cook us food. Other restaurants had refused us abruptly and said it was too late. Vibe there was relaxed. Waiter was friendly. We ordered the seafood paella, the pasta and prawn pil pil.
The paella was freshly made and absolutely delicious. The best we had in Spain. All the other food was gorgeous too. Full of flavour and So fresh.
I had an issue with my Revolut card when paying but waiter was so kind and understanding. Gave me the time to resolve the issue and pay. Read moreI can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming – you instantly feel at home as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed and full of charm, with just the right balance of cosy and lively.
The food? Absolutely fantastic. Every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real passion behind everything they do here.
