Disappointing Experience at an Overpriced Japanese Buffet

I recently visited a Japanese buffet that was recommended. Unfortunately, Our experience, the four of us was far from satisfactory, and I find myself compelled to share my thoughts to help others make an informed decision.

Firstly, the prices set expectations high. This wasn't a budget eatery, and the cost implied a certain level of quality and service. However, upon paying the premium price, the disparity between expectation and reality quickly became apparent.

The array of dishes presented was a pale comparison to the photos displayed in the menu. It's not uncommon for actual serving presentations to differ slightly from their stylized menu pictures, but in this case, the difference was stark.

In summary, this Japanese buffet is not one I can recommend. Neither the price nor the quality of the food justifies a visit. There are plenty of other authentic, high-quality Japanese dining experiences available that provide better value for money and a more satisfying culinary journey.

Good value for money! We went here at 5pm at a Saturday and it was very quiet. The all you can eat was 14,95 euro per persoon and the soft drinks/water were very reasonably priced (under 2 euro). There was a lot of choice in cold/warm dishes, Japanese, Chinese and some other Asian dishes. The price quality ratio is acceptable.

In my opinion the quality of the warm dishes are way better then the sushi and sashimi. The cuts of the sashimi were not beautiful as you would expect from authentique Japanese restaurants, but the tuna and salmon were fresh. However, the hamachi didn't really tasted fresh. For me, it tasted like it just got thawed before serving. I could squeeze the liquid out of it. The sushi rice was very heavily seasoned (imo traditional sushi should be lightly seasoned) and the ratio rice/fish was too much rice.

But again, for this price I would highly recommend this restaurant of you don't mind the presentation or cuts of your sushi/sashimi. Food was served quickly and the staff...

Great concept - you pay around 12€ and order as many times as you want. Portions are small so you are able to try many different dishes. Beverages are reasonably priced as well. From seven times we have been there four times we were really satisfied about the quality of the food. One time the seafood wasn't as fresh as the other times but I rate that as an exception.
