Tasca 1900 — Restaurant in Guía de Isora

Poor service - waitress said we could eat lunch, so we sat down and ordered a drink first. We then waited 30 minutes to be brought the food menu, behind other tables that arrived after us, only to be told that we could only order bread toasts and cheese plates, nothing hot from the kitchen. They could have told us that before we sat down and waited, at least.

Quite rude and the drinks we ordered were expensive for the area.

There are better restaurants in the area, like guachinche lomito.

Me and my girlfriend discovered this restaurant looking on maps for a place to eat. Even though the menu is all in spanish and they only speak spanish with a little bit of english, the lady that served us was very kind and came to us to explain every meal on the menu. The food and service was amazing, best place we’ve been since arriving in Tenerife. The ladies are very passionate and you’ll see that by the taste of the food.

We had Gazpachio Mango, Tosta Paloneta, Cazon, Abanico Iberico Debelota (we paid 40€) and we couldn’t finish it all and asked for takeaway. It’s a must...

This restaurant is not friendly for tourists, but it is definitely good if you k don't speak spanish. Customer service doesn't exist if you are a tourists, you would be waiting 20 minutes to get served, and if you ask for a drinks menu, you'll never get it. Food is alright, but not special, and they don't have a proper menu to share, is written on a board, and they'll come show you the board and then quickly take it. I would not recommend...
