Punjabi Virsa Hondon — Restaurant in Hondón de los Frailes

Wow Wow Wow - Yet again a fantastic meal at Punjabi Virsa Hondon. We have eaten here a lot of the last few months and have to say the food is consistently excellent quality. having had many of the menu choices from chicken, prawn, beef, lamb and the chefs mixed meals we have NEVER been disappointed.

We have tried several Indian restaurants from Hondon to Orihuela and this is by far the best - great welcoming staff and beautiful freshly prepared meals. We can see the care and attention the owners and the staff take in serving lovely meals.

As two people with differing strength palates it is delightful to have food prepared to your own liking and demonstrates the freshness of the restaurant and their ability to cater for all customers.

We shall back soon to our favourite Indian restaurant.

We came here for my daughters birthday on a recommendation. The guy serving (owner) was very friendly. The food was a huge disappointment. My daughter found a bug in her rice. Also when we moved the dishes once served more bugs appeared. (I could speculate on what bugs they were, but will not) We notified him with no fuss or alarming the 4 other customers. He replaces the rice. No apology. We wanted to leave. We couldn't as we didn't want my daughters evening ruined. We left the remaining food. Paid the bill. Went home and ate pasta and cake! Maybe we were just very unlucky. But it really put us off. And my child now refuses to eat...

The first time I ate there it was probably the best Indian meal I'd ever had, and my companion (who is a cook herself) totally agreed with me.
