We recently visited the Hondon Valley for the first time on a Friday afternoon in March 2024. Whilst there we stopped at Veintiocho for fish and chips. We sat outside on the sunny terrace / street. Service was a little slow and we waited about half an hour for our orders (the bar was very busy). Our meals were brought to the table by a friendly waitress.

Extensive snacks/ full meal menu at very reasonable prices. (I would especially recommend the breakfast menu.. great eggs!) Also inside has an dining room and does a great Sunday Roast! Changing review ...... Wednesday ...only day all other restaurants are closed... Arrived at 4:30 afternoon and told no restaurant service till 5:30... Went back at 6:00 in the evening and abruptly told we didn't have a booking and they had turned away 4 clients already and we didn't have a booking so no service. Staff were very rude and could have informed us at 4:30 so we could have booked for later. Will never...
