The young slender waiter comes over and is engaging and helpful. Top Marks. I chose liver and kidneys, which he helpfully suggests is a large portion - why not do a half portion? Ne-am trezit ca ne e foame cam pe la ora 4 intr-un 1 Mai, cam atunci cand multe restaurante iau o pauza pana mai spre seara. Asa ca am incercat din aproape in aproape, ceea ce ne-a facut sa iesim din Icod de los Vinos si sa ajungem la acest restaurant din Santa Barbara. Am intrat in restaurant si am fost condusi pe o terasa care nu prea ne-a incantat la prima vedere. Dar pentru ca alergasem destul si pentru ca era multa lume (un criteriu universal ca mancarea e buna, sau proaspata, sau ieftina sau toate la un loc!) am decis sa ramanem aici sa mancam. N-am regretat ... dar nici bine nu ne-a fost dupa, la cata mancare am comandat, tinand cont la cat de imense erau portiile. Prima "eroare" a fost cand am comandat octopus, obisnuiti ca la comenzile din zilele anterioare. Nu a fost asa, ci am primit 2 octopus intregi si un bol cu cartofi copti. Am fost atat de surprinsi de ce am primit si cat de gustos a fost, incat nici n-am apucat sa facem poza la acestea. Deja comandasem Veal Steak si Beef C Hop, asa ca am asteptat sa vedem ce primim! Daca Veal Steak-ul a fost servit pe o farfurie cat un platou de pizza mare, Beef C Hop-ul a fost servit pe un platou cam la dublu ca dimensiune. Veal Steak-ul a fost foarte fraged si foarte bine gatit, asa ca sotia a reusit cu greu sa termine. Spre rusinea mea nu pot spune acelasi lucru despre portia mea. Dar pot sa spun ca era cam de 3-4 cm grosime si ca avea cu tot cu os cel putin 1,5 kg. L-am cerut gatit mediu, dar a fost gatit intre mediu si in sange. Oricum a fost foarte suculent si foarte gustos. In concluzie, daca nu esti gurmand, ai grija cat comanzi pentru ca portiile sunt foarte mari ... si te faci de ras! Recomand si sigur voi mai trece pe aici daca...

The portions are very large. We mistaken to take 4 first dishes which we could not finish (2 persons).

Out of which, the Fiesta del carne was very special and the goat meat was delicious (cabra).
