Camello Bandido — Restaurant in La Oliva

Camello Bandido is not only the best burger on the island but perhaps the best in all of Spain. I've been here now at least 7 or 8 times and every time I'm in love with their flavours and their staff.

The best thing about it for me is that as someone who is very conscious of what I put in my body, I'm always very nourished by the high quality of the food here. The beef is 100% organic, grass fed from Galicia. They don't freeze it, it's fresh. I know all this because Nacho the owner (I think) passionately has told us many times about the menu! All of the other stuff (potatoes, sauces) are freshly cut, made and created everyday. Absolutely amazing attention to detail that I appreciate and am very happy to pay for compared to a lot of burger places which can be cheap and greasy.

Quite possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. The friendly and welcoming waiter asked us if he could recommend something for u to try . We totally went with his suggestions.

Everything was delicious , different taste with every mouthful, the burger meat was tender and melted away with every bite.

We started with the Trufadas Atrevidas ( crips with truffle and parmesan) & Mandocas de platano Reblede... A delicous sweet and savory starter which reminded me of a banana fritter but taken to another level !..

If we're staying in Lajares for longer we would have been back to try everything..

Complot IPA on tap drew us to this place! We heard about it in Main Street, Corralejo. We like a walk to Lajares, so we diverted our route to here! 10.2km/6.4 miles from El Cotillo. Well worth the walk! The Complot IPA is fabulous, well kept and 4€ a full pint (at the time of writing)!! And the burgers, well! They're home made, and wow!! I'm not really much of a burger person, but the burger with black truffle sauce, mozzarella cheese and mushrooms was delicious! Expertly cooked, just as we like them, slightly pink in the middle, not overdone, although I'm sure you could ask for them to be well done if you prefer!
