The waiter was an old, very unfriendly, grumpy and impatient man, all the guests got old bread on their table without asking for it (which they were all charged for afterwards), all the prices on the menu were excluding 5% tax and our cola's were 2.37 euros instead of 1.67 euro as it said on the menu. The trick was that only the food was translated in English and German, the drinks section was not, and the drinks themselves were not specifically mentioned, it just said 'refrescos'. When I said something about the price being wrong they answered it was the 5% tax, but the tax came on top of the 2.37 euros, so 2.49 euros for one cola! So think twice before going here, they try to rip you off. It is sad, because the food itself was very tasteful, no complaints about...

This was a stop on our tour to Mt. Tiede. We were ushered in for a bathroom break and coffee and cookies, so I really can’t speak to the food. The place was packed with people and tour buses, so I assume that’s the main business. You can view that as a ringing endorsement or a steer clear. If I were traveling on my own, this would not be a stop. There are several other restaurants along the route that heads to the mountain. This place had a bar, ice cream stand, full restaurant, and a gift shop. Restrooms were fairly clean. Use the ones in the back for more privacy and higher cleanliness due to...

An awful place! Don’t visit it if you know what is good service and good attitude towards customers. We came to this place with a dog and wanted to have a look at the Vulcan. We were placed inside. After 10 minutes a “very friendly” owner came to us and told us it is not allowed to be there with the dog and that we have to order something to eat if we want to stay inside. After another 5 minutes he came one more time to us and told that if we don’t order anything to eat we have to leave. It is unimaginable that the owner of a restaurant lets you in, you pay him money and after 10 minutes he...

Stop here on the excursion. Staff not welcoming at all. Went to the bar to ask if they have table service or need to order at the bar. Guy said table service. Taking into account that I was the first who came over from the bus we haven't even been served. The guy kept running around the tables but still no luck. In the end I haven't been served at all, so I had to take a sandwich from the bar. Asked to complain but the guy suddenly did not speak English. There is no such apology, nothing. Just to make it worse we travel with a child. Ruined my whole day. Shame for the restaurant in such a beautiful place.

We entered at 14:23 sat at a table full of dirty pots and waited. Was not greeted at all and we kept waving to the waiter and he made eye contact but did not acknowledge. Some customers came in at the same time had their tables cleaned, food ordered, delivered and had eaten it all while we waited. At 14:50 he told us one minute he’ll be right with us but then preceded to just flit about tending to people who hadn’t asked for help. It got to 15:02 and we decided to go down the road to Papillon instead. Wouldn’t even give one star, definitely would not return!

Restaurante Bambi is on the main road across Mount Teide in Tenerife and has wonderful, unobstructed views of the Peak. You can see the results of the rain shadow it creates because one side of yhe cone is green with life, the other is brown and arid. Situated on a stunning stretch of road, the staff were friendly and the drinks cold. Didn't sample the food but what we saw looked pretty good. Plenty of parking. Bambi has an old swimming pool that's no longer in use but I can imagine, backnin the day, it would have been a brilliant place to spend a night.
