The place was a charming Spanish restaurant with a gluten-free bakery. We discovered this by chance and I'm so happy we went. Such a delicious gluten-free food at a really reasonable price and really sweet lady as a waitress/maybe she was a owner?.. anyway, I've been eating gluten-free for 20 years and I've never before been able to eat everything in a restaurant without worry and pick anything I want. We even got two different gluten free breads for starters. The food, dessert and wine was SO delicious. This was actually a special and moving moment for me. Thank you so much! ♥️

Ha sido una total decepción. He estado hoy con mi mujer, los dos celíacos. Además, yo no puedo tomar lácteos. Hemos pedido el menú para dos personas. De primero, han sacado quesos con diferentes siropes por encima, comestible pero sin más. No se me ha dado otra opción. Como yo no puedo tomar leche, en el segundo han sacado unas patatas congeladas con un revuelto de un huevo. Las patatas duras y el huevo poco hecho. Increíble. Luego el plato “principal” era ¿a ver si lo adivinas? sí, más patatas congeladas y un par de trozos de carne de cerdo de mala calidad, con grasa y sin hacer. Les hemos tenido que pedir que lo hicieran, tenía trozos crudos. De verdad que todavía estamos flipando del sitio. La atención por otra parte, lentísima y de malas maneras. Tenían 3 mesas: la nuestra, otra pareja que se ha ido quejándose, una pareja de trabajadores comiendo y una con señoras. Nos han pedido disculpas a nosotros por la carne poco hecha, a los trabajadores por no sacarles el pan y a las señoras porque no les sacaban la cuenta a pesar de que han esperado más de media hora. En serio, si no quieren trabajar, que cierren y dejen de sufrir. Con lo que han hecho hoy de caja ni pagan salarios. Utilizan el reclamo del “sin gluten” para cazar a turistas incautos como nosotros pero espero que esta opinión ayude a salvarse a alguno. Tiene que hacer un replanteamiento total de su negocio, esto ya no es 1980 donde valía todo y se podía maltratar a los clientes.

Un sitio perfecto para comer, en la bajada del Teide a La Orotava, ya muy cerquita de Puerto de la Cruz. La comida es tradicional canaria, casera, muy rica y abundante. Los principales que veis en las fotos son medias raciones, y menos mal, porque así pude probar el postre, que estaba riquísimo. La carta es 100% sin gluten y sin contaminación cruzada, apta para celíacos. Tienen cerveza sin gluten, pan (unos bollitos con semillas con muy buena pinta, pero que no probé), muchos postres... Las vistas son preciosas, al valle de la Orotava y al océano. El camarero que nos atendió, un chico joven, super amable, y explicando todas las dudas. Vamos, todo perfecto. Pedimos: ♡♡♡♡ cuartita de tinto ♡♡♡ ensaladilla ♡♡♡♡ ½ croquetas de atún (4 u.) (se puede elegir sabor, el mismo por cada 4 croquetas, van de 4 en 4, y las tienen de atún, de queso manchego, de espinacas, de pollo, de gofio, de almogrote, y puede que algo máz) ♡♡♡♡ ½ carne fiesta con papas arrugás y mojo rojo conejo al ajillo ♡♡♡♡♡ tarta de limón (lemon pie) La primera vez que puedo probar la tarta de limón, y ésta eataba riquísima, todo, la galleta, la crema de limón y el merengue, perfecta! ¡Muchas gracias!

Let me start with the fact that after this restaurant I felt bad for another 3 days. The chefs from this place prepared spoiled rabbit for me and my boyfriend. It was also served rather poorly because the meat was initially overcooked. Due to poor quality meat , we were sick within a few hours.

All other food was served with an incredibly large amount of French fries, which we do not eat and generally did not order.

Regarding the service: The service is very poor. The waiter does not know basic English, they have a menu in English which was too much for the waiters to handle. This made it very difficult to order.

Also, after the painful ordeal of ordering dishes in English and Spanish, they forgot that they had 4 guests and managed to serve dishes for 3 guests, they simply forgot about one dish and decided that this was normal.

But the pinnacle of their terrible service was that they didn’t even tell us the cost of all the French fries, which we didn’t order at all and were served on separate plates. They included all these potatoes on our check as separate dishes. We were extremely outraged by such actions.

We drew the attention of the man with the cash register that we didn’t even order fries.

Why is it on our check?

And the man pretended that this was normal, but at the same time canceled the potatoes from the check. But after that he seemed to pretend that he was offended and indignant. Thus, making us look like we are thieves of potatoes that we didn’t even eat.

Conclusion: This is the worst place we've been to in Tenerife for tourists.

I do not advise repeating...

Lunch shared with four tuna croquettes, half portion of squid rings that came out of a packet industrial produced, tasteless and not recommended. Chicken breast cordon-bleau passable with French fries and cabbage salad. French fries also served with the squid. Dessert three chocolates again factory produced. Don't expect English spoken service staff this is a typical Canarian restaurante that is Gluten free so apt for people who suffer celiac disease. As for me not to be repeated plus overcharged for bread which I couldn't be bothered for 4.50 euros to complain about. Definitely not fine dining as very economical...

🤢🤮❗️Food poisoning!❗️🤕🤢 I ordered 2 rabbits and the waiter who didn't know ANY English brought only one. So one of 4 people didn't get a meal at all. Which is good because the rabbit gave me (and my friend who had only one leg) a bad food poisoning.

They also brought the potatoes that we didn't order and didn't eat. The waiter got visibly angry when we didn't want to pay for it. We are used to bread being brought and charged but the fries are a different level of scam. Especially because they were quite bad. Terrible place, avoid at all costs. I've spent more time on the toilet than at the...
