Hidden extra charges No one warned us that there’s a 10% surcharge on the terrace. We were given a menu without any note about it, and only when the bill arrived did we see a different version showing this charge. Completely misleading.

Ridiculous charge for dog water We were traveling with our dog and asked for a bowl of water. They brought a simple bowl — no bottle, no explanation — yet the bill showed €3.5 for “water.” In three years of traveling with our dog, this is the first time I’ve ever been charged for it. No proof it wasn’t just tap water.

Poor timing of dishes We ordered entrecôte with fries. The fries arrived in 3 minutes, but the steak came 20 minutes later, by which time the fries were gone. The food itself was okay, but the value for money is terrible. You can find much better service and taste in central Barcelona for the same price.

Bad service and atmosphere The staff don’t care about customers and react rudely to questions. The place was dirty. We didn’t ask to sit on the terrace, but they seated us there anyway — without warning us about the extra charge — and we had to breathe cigarette smoke the entire meal. Basically, we paid +10% for passive smoking and discomfort.

This is the only place we eat once in outlet but for sure not the best one. Prices are incredibly high and not reasonable for what you get, menu itself is interesting and sound good. Unfortunately, when you order and see what comes you can be pretty disappointed (especially considering the price). We ended to order just appetizers such as beef and foie carpaccio (actually wasn’t bad but at least some arugula would make it better and full-fledged). And also we ordered “salad” with beens and salmon, which was a disappointment (see photo), do you think it can cost more than 10€? We do not think so, it tasted as you can imagine..green beens (pretty al dente) and smoked salmon which was overpowering. Also the staff wasn’t the nicest and they seem not to...

We went to El Mordisco in La Roca Village and had such a great time. As soon as we arrived we were seated right away, and the hostess, Carlota, was super welcoming, really friendly and approachable – she gave us the perfect start. The waiters were also really nice and attentive throughout the meal. We ordered an Entrecote and a Strittata de Salmón, both were delicious and really filling. To drink we had a Pornstar Martini and an Espresso Martini, both perfectly made. Overall, everything was tasty and the whole experience was really positive.
