This place is right out of the way. Luckily there's Google Maps or I'd have never found it, despite getting directions from a friend of mine who recommended it to me. It's worth the drive though.

The fish here is too die for. So is the "sartén de lapas", limpets done in the oven, which I had a starter. If you like mollusks you need to give it a try. They have a variety of fresh fish here which you choose yourself before it gets prepared for you.

Then there are the little details that caused me to give the place 5 stars. Very friendly and efficient service. One of the few places where you get really cold non-alcoholic beer. The ambiente of a typical Canarian restaurant. All this adds to a wonderful...

If you're looking for an authentic local experience in Tenerife, I highly recommend visiting a traditional fish restaurant located in one of the less touristy areas. This hidden gem allows you to personally select your fish, ensuring the freshest catch for your meal. We enjoyed two large fish, perfectly prepared and ample enough for our group of eight. The wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauce were a delightful side, bursting with local flavors. We also savored escaldón de gofio, a traditional Canarian dish, alongside a fresh vegetable salad. The combination of genuine hospitality, fresh ingredients, and local delicacies made for an unforgettable...

This local place is a typical location for locals to eat. You have to come super early otherwise you have to wait easily 90 minutes to get in. The service isn't the best, but the food is quite delicious and tasty🤌🏽 If you don't have a horse to come to this place, then you should be very careful to come with the car, it is in a very mountainous area.

If you like fresh fish, this is the place to go. You might have to wait for a table (go to the bar and get a number), because the place is often packed, but it's worth it. Nice service, great food. A bit out of the way, but well worth the drive. Try the "sartén de lapas" as a starter, if you like mollusks.
