Bar restaurante talavera — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Oh man, what a find! We very randomly stumbled upon this restaurant when trying to visit the nearby Botanic gardens. The staff were very welcoming (especially Alvaro) whom accommodated as throughout the experience. He was able to understand and converse in English, which was more than enough. This place has a homemade vibe, with no one else inside but locals. The food was incredible, they had no menu on but were serving whatever food was cooked on the day. Alvaro gave us free biscuits, cheese, and a local liquer/rum. Price wise, for 2 people we had only paid a moderate amount in comparison of what we were served. 2 main course, couple of bottles of alcohol, appetisers for a little over €20. A quick snack and refreshment for just a few euros. Really friendly people and lovely establishment with a great view of the mountains. Super helpful! Wish I had more time before my bus to eat...

No le pongo menos estrellas porque es inviable, tampoco puedo críticar su comida ya que la mala educación de la camarera nos recibió de malas formas elevando la voz por pedir unas bebidas en la barra y alzando la voz nos dijo NOO PORQUE TODAVÍA QUEDAN MESAS SIN SERVIR !!! He trabajado cara al público toda mi vida y jamás será permitida esas faltas de educación y respeto (soy de las que si no te gusta tu trabajo quédate en tu casa) mal día podemos tener todos pero hay que tener empatía !
