Great (and really only choice) to stop for a snack, a lottery ticket, and to use the facilities when hiking the Guiniguada Ravine (Barranco Guiniguada) trail from its start in Las Palmas city near Triana towards the Botanic Gardens (Jardin Botánico). The lower entrance to the Botanic Gardens is 500m from here along the very dangerous road shoulder with the absolute most horrible unsafe section of the entire hike just past the entryway to the bar Maipez along the immediate part of the road shoulder from here to the next available section of pusedo sidewalk. Note: city of Las Palmas and island of Gran Canaria no longer have bus service in this lower valley. Very difficult access for person with mobility issues and very limited parking with safe crossing or...

Experiencia para no repetir, fuimos recomendados pero... A mala hora. Nada más llegar nos llama la atención la suciedad del suelo de la barra, no cabía más migas de pan y papeles (una cosa es que sea un bar de obreros y otra que no se pase el cepillo de vez en cuando a lo largo del día), teniamos reserva y pasamos al comedor, todo bien hasta que llegó la media de queso frito, 4 tristes miniporciones por 5,50€, fallo mio no preguntar cuantas porciones venían pero tampoco es algo que especificaba la carta, vamos... Nos pareció caro. Luego un escalope que estaba bien, y de postre una tarta helada .... Que también fue una sorpresa, no por ser la típica tarta helada que vende el mercadona, si no que incluía un trocito de plástico que con ser un poco observadores cualquiera lo hubiera visto. Y por último al pedir la cuenta, la típica bandeja donde se ancla el ticket también no podía tener más suciedad incrustada. Lo siento, pero para esas condiciones como mejor en mi casa. Al final fueron 36€ un menú, entrante más plato principal y postre sin salir satisfechos, pareciendonos algo caro para su calidad y cantidad. Very simple, genuine and basic place: its strength in my opinion and way of life, specially abroad. Mostly neighbors and workers come here to sip warm and cold drinks, eat a snack or a real meal.
