Extremely negative experience

We had a terrible experience with the owner of the house. During one night three outdoor chairs fell in the swimming pool due to the wind. In the early morning our group(we all are 20 years old) was waken up by the screaming owner that entered the house without asking or knocking, pulling the bed sheets away and yelling us to get out of the house. As we were sleeping we all obeyed going out, without having the time to discuss. Despite the owner was able to speak english she refused to talk about the situation, closing all the house's doors with all our stuff and suitcases inside. After this, she also put a smartphone and a wallet that she found in the house inside her pocket. She wanted us to pay 1500€ cash to pay the chairs that weren't broken or damaged, just wet. She said that the money were for the chairs and for our behaviour, everything stated by her despotically. She said that if we wouldn't have paid her , she wouldn't give our stuff back, that's an extortion! Fortunately she forgot an open window so we were able to get in the house and prepare the suitcases. After some hours she came back and when she understood that we were not going to give her the money she gave us the smartphone and the wallet but we had to leave the house two days before our departure, sleeping in an hotel without getting any refund. We have spent the last 5 New Year's Eves at el Trull .Ok it costs 160 euros per person but for that you get a first class meal with all the wines,cava,water ect.that you can drink.The 12 grapes to see in the New Year, as much of whatever else you want to drink and ham with tomato bread in the small hours.An evening of entertainment by an orchestra who play everything from Manolo Escobar to ACDC.Room to dance and party bags to help add a little sparkle to the celebrations.The staff are very professional and it is definitely value for money.The best place locally for the important celebrations.I give it 10 out of 10 and can confirm that in all the years that I have lived around here and have visited el Trull on many occasions I have never been disappointed ,from its menu del dia to weddings ,baptisms,primer communion,or New Year celebrations...

Esta vez nuestra experiencia no fue la esperada... Llevamos muchos años (más de 20) siendo clientes. Me casé, años después también se casó mi hermano, celebraciones familiares, navidades y tristemente hemos visto como todo ha ido cambiando desfavorablemente en los últimos años en servicio a la carta del restaurante. Imagino que su enfoque está en los banquetes y celebraciones (que por mi experiencia son excelentes). La terraza exterior estaba cerrada. El salón interior estaba casi lleno. Al realizar la reserva nos dijeron que teníamos opción de turno: a las 13 o a las 15. Elegimos a las 15:00 y fuimos los únicos y últimos en llegar, la mayoría de mesas estaban ya con segundos platos y otras con el postre (por lo tanto los largos tiempos de espera nos costó entenderlos y justificarlos desde el inicio). En la sala hacía frío. Algo que nos generaba incomodidad. Primeros platos: Jamón de bellota que estaba muy bueno. Chipirones frescos que habían sido congelados, estaban buenos (pero la racion muy justa x su precio), el pulpo a la gallega estaba duro, le faltaba cocción. Las cañadillas estaban riquísimas y también los calamares a la romana tiernos y ración generosa. Tartar de atún (nos lo dieron a probar y se solicitó con más salsa de soja para potenciar sabor e hicieron caso omiso). Segundos platos: Solomillo con foie se pidió poco hecho, estaba pasado y la salsa estaba muy densa y fuerte. Canelones de txangurro que nos decepcionaron por su elaboración, cubiertos de una capa exagerada de Emmental que le restaba todo su sabor. Espalda de cordero sabrosa y el rape excelente . Tardaron 30 min en traernos el segundo plato, cuando ya apenas quedaban clientes y la mayoría estaban con postres y cafés. Así que entre el frío y las esperas ya se nos quitaron las ganas de postre.
