Shiva Beach Club — Restaurant in Llucmajor

Shiva beach club was CLEARLY scamming us because they recognized we were young tourists. Do not go. They will make you pay way more than you were expecting and operate as a mess. We booked the lounge chairs which were supposed to be 20 euros each. When we arrived they directed us to the sun beds so we assumed it was what we had booked, but found out upon paying that the beds were 50 each which was much more than we planned on paying, which was especially annoying considering our group were only people at the pool all day. Ordering our food was the longest process ever. Our waitress was apparently new but it took us repeating our orders and obscene amount of times for her to finally get it all on her notepad, and still our food did not come out correctly. There was an extra dish we never ordered and they completely forgot about multiple dishes we had ordered and we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for our food. Also, we ordered the paella which said it was 20 euros, and it served at least 2 people. However, when we paid they said each person had to pay 20, which was completely different from what was stated on the menu. Shiva is a nice setting and the drinks we had were great. The service from the owner/director however was terrible. I made a large booking via the website, with some emails also to confirm details. On arrival I stated to our waitress we had a booking with some Sun loungers and 1 table but she suggested we take a long row of Sun loungers. I had emails alongside the websites booking process that stated the booking and payment included a minimum spend. However when I checked on the bill I was informed the money paid was for Sun lounger hire only. Without our group the place had 6 customers. When the owner came over 2 of us discussed with him, tried to find resolution in a calm way but this was not reciprocated. We offered a mid-way resolution, with intention to pay part of the bill, despite having already paid enough to cover our drinks, to then stay and continue to eat and drink however he told us to leave (meaning Shiva lost money in fact). LOOKING TO SCAM TOURISTS!!!!!! They forced us to pay twice for a meal because it was being shared by two people. The menu said it was about 20€ and should be ordered by a minimum of two people. Then they said that it was 20€ per person halfway through paying even though that is not said anywhere on the menu and not something we were told while ordering. Someone in our party even heard them discussing forcing us to pay extra halfway through the splitting of the bill. They even directed us to a more pricey seating option when we entered even though we booked the least expensive beds. We should have ensured that we were in the right seating but that's what you get for being too trusting I guess.
