Bar-Restaurante "LAS CLARAS DEL MAR MENOR" — Restaurant in Los Alcázares

I have had lunch here a few times and the 3 course set menu with drink for around €13 is excellent value. On my last visit the has a special "Fiesta del Caldero" menú to mark the local fiesta. While a little more expensive at €24.50, it was well worth every cent. It was a banquet style meal you'd expect at a high end restaurant at double the price. Every dish was delicious, particularly the assortment of starters. The staff are friendly and efficient, some of them speak English but even the kitchen staff can communicate at basic level in English. The restaurant is located in a small park away from noisy traffic. I had lunch twice here and both times the food was tasty and well presented, which wasn't the case with other places I've eaten in the area and at less than €14 for 3 courses plus a drink and coffee it is a superb value for money. Service was efficient and polite although not all staff speak English, but that's not the problem when ordering from the menu.
