Tasca La Luna — Restaurant in Los Llanos de Aridane

Context: it’s Dec 24th, dinner time. We’ve got warmed up food, hence the 2/5. Service, not good: once already sit the owner comes and tells us he’s got family and invites us to eat quickly as they are closing. We were in the restaurant since just 20’ and having fun with the games available. Simply, it’s not nice to know you have to leave quickly once you have already ordered, but maybe we should not be so nice to pay the full bill if we didn’t get the full service. It’s been the 3rd time I’ve been there, but I am not sure to go back. Comida buena. Lugar con encanto. Servicio desastroso: llegamos a las 19h30...acaban de abrir. Mi amigo francés tiene una duda sobre la carta. Yo le hago una pequeña pregunta a la camarera en español...(soy española)...y ella no entiende y me dice en inglés (do you speak English? --?!!! - la camarera no habla nada de español!). Se da cuenta que me molesta su pregunta, y le pide a su jefe, que habla español, que nos coja la comanda, con aires de desgana.. Nos traen los platos bastante rápido. Terminamos...y la camarera que está desbordada nos va recogiendo poco a poco los platos (tarda unos 20min en recoger todo!!). Esperamos otros 15 minutos a que alguien se digne a preguntarnos si queremos postre o café.... Pues nada, tengo que "cogerla al vuelo" y decirle que queremos dos mousses de gofio..(simple, creo que entendió).. Y después de esperar otros 20minutos por dos simples postres...tengo que pedirle a otro camarero que nos los traiga. Se disculpó diciendo que estaban desbordados...No creo que sacar dos mousses del frigorífico les diera tanto esfuerzo...En ese momento le dije que me trajera la cuenta....no vaya a ser que tuviera que esperar otros tantos minutos. Por cierto, la tres mesas del patio con parejas alemanas recibieron sus cervezas, entrantes y primeros platos en tiempo récord.... quizás nuestro problema era que no hablábamos alemán. Por cierto también, su jefe no volvió a pasar desde la toma de la comanda a disculparse.... Enschuldigung!! Ich spreche...

I enjoyed all the food i ordered. The local palmeran white wine was great. i ordered a quiche with spinach - subtle and interesting flavours and delicious pastry. After that i had a delicious stew - the Carne en Salsa casera. The sauce is wonderful in depth. It all made me very happy and grateful to be eating such good food.
