I am a half a century old man, travelled more than 40 countries and ate at 1000ths (10000?) of restaurants, from many locals to multiple Michelin Star restaurants, so I think my humble opinion may be of some value.
I and my compagny, was lituarly blown away by this hidden gem!
Amazing atmosphere, wonderful service, delicious food, even our dog was allowed inside without any problem and got all attention (big problem in 70% of Tenerife restaurants).
You must know, due to my extensive experience with restaurants from all over the world, I always have a minimum of 10 to 50 negative things to point out, and in this restaurant, it was almost impossible to find some!
If I want to be really terrible and give one tip to improve: Use different lights with warmer colors and half of the wattage, this would make the place insanely cosy and is a very low investment and saves you even money in the end.
Simply a stunning place, and we will surely come back and try everything...
Read moreWas really looking forward to coming here with how beautiful the restaurant looks. However upon walking through the door and saying I was English, the chef gave me a look of distaste, which I could have let slide however upon the starter coming to the table ( bland and the prawns were over cooked to the point they were a closed circle and were not gutted. Also the sauce had a layer over it as if it was heated up from the previous day) I saw the chef watching me eat and laughing to their staff as if something was funny to her which ruined the experience for both me and my partner. Over all a very unwelcoming atmospheres and unpleasant service. Would not recommend (the waitress was making baby noises the whole time) you’re better off keeping your money, Tenerife is a beautiful place and you can find better restaurants very easily. Will not be...
Read moreExpectations were high and we might be critical, but the food could use some more flavour. The staff was very helpfull and polite. We received the menu on a tabloid screenshot, which was a bit strange. It was very nice to see that the chef tried other things than the standard Spanish cuisine offers. The salad with ham and avocado was very tasty. We also had a codfish stew, and fish in puff pastry in some sort of cream sauce. Both of these dishes tried to experiment with new combinations, but missed the right flavours. For the experience we had, the restaurant was overpriced compared to normal tapas restaurants. However, we did not eat any meat, which is...
