Spectacular little bakery, incredibly friendly despite most of us not speaking spanish, even worked with us to figure out what was vegetarian and what wasn't and the colega even had a small conversation (in spanish) with us about how they don't really use lard even though in north America that's very common. Then she gifted us a couple little extra sweets even though it was like 7 AM!! And everything was delicious, though perhaps too much sugar.

I tried to walk past but the exceptional smell of freshly prepared bread and cakes was too tempting. As I watched and listened to how the locals interacted with the owners it was evident that they're well known and seem to know people by name. If only they had a cafe too where you could sit and enjoy their products

Compré un dulce y para empaquetarlo lo tumbaron y el empaquetado fue de tal manera que la parte de arriba del dulce quedó pegada al papel. Esto no hubiera tenido importancia si no fuese porque no era del día, ni de ayer, el bizcocho bastante seco y sabor un poco agrio, de cuando era no sé, pero algunos días tenía. Bueno me imagino que se les habría olvidado quitarlo de la venta y quizás lo vendieron sin querer.

Beware of the coins given in change! The shop woman gave me a 10 Forint (worthless) instead of a one euro amongst other coins. Mean and nasty behaviour from a middle aged woman. I didn't check the change until later as I trusted and had my hands full. You may not like foreign visitors (I am Australian) but I was buying your goods!!! SHAME ON YOU AND...
