Everest Curry House — Restaurant in Madrid

The timing was right for my visit to be able to write in 5 stars for this restaurant. A waiter saw me outside reviewing the menu and offered a table. But I was tired and hungry from a long long day at work. I declined but came back after walking a block towards home. I made the right decision. I was offered a menu but I simply asked for a recommendation of a chicken dish, rice and Naan. What was served absolutely hit the spot. Wait staff was empathetic to my situation and so hospitable. Really like this local Indian restaurant. Went last year on my birthday and have gone back a couple of times. The staff are friendly and the food is great. Good price too. Some Nepalese tasty dishes that I had never tried before but the best for me was the Rohan Josh. Lived in India for while and this place is serving super authentic food. Excelente. Hemos ido a comer 2 personas. Hoy hemos repetido algún plato que nos había gustado mucho la vez anterior. Además, hoy hemos podido llegar al postre...aunque con esfuerzo.. ;);) Hemos tomado: --de entrante "Momo", que son unas bolitas rellenas de picadillo de pollo, verduras y especias, acompañadas de salsa de tomate especiada. -- luego, dos cazuelitas de pollo: Kukhura Tikka y Murga Curry;  cada uno tiene una salsa espesa de tomate con especias. Ambas muy ricas y diferentes. Pican una pizquita (creo que por el cardamomo) pero no es exagerado. Lo hemos acompañado con arroz Chyau Chawal.. muy sabroso y riquísimo. Hecho con cebolla frita y champiñón ( nada grasiento). -- postre : helado casero de pistacho. Excelente. Lo hemos pedido xq lo habían aconsejado otros comensales en los comentarios. Un acierto. -- bebida: hemos tomado cerveza....bien fresquita y en copa helada.....con la que está cayendo a medio día es muy de agradecer. Hemos comido 2 personas, pero podrían haber comido 3. Han sido 4 platos màs el postre  (el postre compartido xq estábamos llenas). Total 34,90€ (sin contar la bebida).
