The owner and his wife were so kind and inviting. As soon as we walked in the door he was there with a smile and a handshake then introduced us to his wife. We felt like we were dining in our family home! We ordered the Menu del día and loved every bit of it! The Greek salad was so fresh! It was the first Greek salad outside of Greece that tasted authentic! The chicken and veal were very good with a nice flavor and the cheesecake was the perfect ending to a very satiating meal. And all for an extremely reasonable price (€23)! And if a great meal for a great price served in a family atmosphere is not enough…the owner presented both my husband and I with a lovely little souvenir to remind us of Madrid and of his and his wife’s kindness! His warmth and humour are a genius masterclass in how to make anyone feel welcome. The restaurant has a cosy decor that feels traditional and comforting.
