My friend and I came to Don Pedro because we were staying in the area visiting from Miami. Jet lag had hit us pretty hard so we didn’t want to go to Al centro for dinner. And this place seemed good and close. We had tuna belly with spring onion and tomato for an appetizer, the consume as well and we shared the steak. Everything was so good. The tuna belly was absolutely perfect. The consume was different from anything I tasted before. It was a very rich broth, but there were notes of potato in it. And it seemed a little harder than I’m used to. It was lovely. And the steak you got to sear it yourself so that you were able to cook it exactly how you wanted it to be. And the bread!!! it was some of the best we’ve had in Madrid. And to finish dinner, we were served Toblerone and the dessert wine. 10/10 we definitely recommend and will...

We ordered grilled Veggies and Iberian Ham for a shared starter and then the plain sirloin steak that comes with no sauce (to be gluten free) and a delicious baked potato. In my memory i have never eaten a steak of any cut that was as good as this one.

I was impressed by our waiters (who were all senior citizens except one who wasn’t a youngster either). It’s heart warming to see seniors still making a living and active as pro servers.

If I could give this establishment 10 stars i would. Don’t be put off by the area close to the Airport. This place is so good. Tables are set beautifully and traditionally. You get waiters that understand decorum and don’t try to take your plate when your knife and fork and set apart like the clueless ones we have in many North American establishments.
