We stayed at Zleep Madrid Airport Hotel and wanted to check out this place with home cooked meal. It was great! Simple, no fuss. Even if you don't speak Spanish, ordering is not a problem.
11 Euros gets you a drink, appetizers, mains and dessert. 12 Euros if you want it with Coffee.
Well worth the money and more!
The ladies, Terry and her sister are such Spanish darlings. That would be rare to come by. Most of the Spanish women in this whole trip are a bit snobbish but these two are great!

Talk of a gem in the rough, this is it. Small family run place. Very simple unpretentious menu. Nothing more or less than grandmother kitchen. This truly is a local fare and everything about it is friendly.
We speak near zero Spanish. The ladies went out of their way to explain it all and made us feel at home.
We stayed in Marriott across the highway. Walked over the bridge and enjoyed the warm hospitality.
