Well what can I say. No menu outside so had to go inside where we were asked immediately drink or food. Once we said food we were shown to a table in the sand. My wife ordered Belgian stew salad and chips, small portion of stew in a pot. I ordered a new york burger cooked medium chips. When the burger arrived it was in a paper wrapper and chips in a box. I tried to cut the burger in half and struggled to get through it but did. It didn't look like medium cooked and texture was like rubber. I called the waitress and she said they would cook another for me. This one was cooked on the outside and raw in the middle but was still like a rubber texture so I couldn't eat it. The staff came to collect our plates and asked if our meal was OK. I told them that the burger meat was of low quality and I couldn't eat it. They said that they couldn't afford expensive meat yet their burger was the most expensive one of all the Chiringuitos in the area. I had an Aberdeen Angus burger the previous day from another Chiringuito which was delicious and 5 euros cheaper. Hope they improve their food and the menu needs to be simplified as there are too many genres of food which...
Read moreWe’ve been going to Amaka Beach for 3 years in a row during summer. We have been very disappointed by the service on our last visit. We came as a group of 4 people to have smoothies around 12pm. We sat at a table and were told we had to free it by 1pm for lunch service (no sign though of réservation) Not a problem but it was said to us quite coldly. The table was then dressed to be shortly after undressed as they realized we were only drinking, although we said it immediately. What was more shocking is that a member of our party was told off for putting one of her feet on the chair she was sitting on (she was barefooted as the table lays on the sand). The waiter even came a second time to ask her to remove her foot insistingly. We thought his attitude to be rude and she remained as she was. We’ve had to ask for the bill twice, paid then left. We didn’t feel welcome at all in this chiringuito that seems to pretend to be a five star hotel in Ibiza. This chiringuito is not as classy as they pretend, very expensive for what it is, with poor manners. We...
Read moreProbably the best place to go in the area for a relaxed and nice atmosphere and some amazing food and drinks during the daytime. I will definitely return next summer!
We got beds for the day and booked lunch. The overall style and little details of this place is very stylish and relaxing. The passion fruit mojito and the grilled prawns were both delicious. Can be a pricey day out but great if you just want a really nice day and to treat yourself.
Only criticism I would have this that the staff didn’t seem overly friendly or attentive particularly by the beds area, despite reading reviews that staff are normally really attentive with drinks, ordering etc! Had to wait an hour and then get up to ask to order a drink and we received our complimentary water last despite being first on the beach. But these slip ups might be very uncommon normally as I’ve seen positive reviews about attentiveness.
But overall a lovely day and atmosphere. Thanks...
