Restaurant Yutaka — Restaurant in Manresa

We were looking for Japanese noodles, as we'd been eating Spanish food for a few weeks. We spotted Yatuku Restaurant, which had good ratings, and went there for lunch on Monday, May 19, 2025. Unfortunately, the main chef and owner were resting, so only Western food was available. The waiter spoke little English and Mandarin but recommended BBQ pork and BBQ chicken for us. We could choose two side dishes, and since we couldn't read the Spanish menu, we picked salad and a fried egg. The meat was well-barbecued, and the salad was fresh. The waiter was very patient and courteous. The meal cost €16.60. He apologized for the communication difficulties. The restaurant was spacious, quiet, and well-decorated. This restaurant specialiases in Japanese style dishes and offers a very interesting buffet option (12€ for lunch and 16€ for dinner with obligation to buy at least one drink per person). With this buffet option you have access to all the dishes that are available in the menu and you order using a special card selecting the food you want by selecting the correponding number. It is a very affordable option that allows you to sample a little bit of everything when you go there. I recommend this spot as the quality of the food is very good when comparing to other buffet style restaurants in the city. Also the staff is very nice and friendly! No estaba convencida de ir, no me gustan este tipo de restaurantes, la última vez en otro restaurante tuve una mala experiencia, pero le di una oportunidad y si no me convencía no iba a volver a pisar ningún asiático de bufé libre. Para empezar es un bufé libre a la carta con bebidas a parte. El restaurante está situado en la parte baja de un hotel, con aparcamiento privado, punto positivo. El espacio es pequeño pero muy bien acondicionado, buen ambiente, muy limpio, sin olores extraños y con buena acústica (no oyes a todos los comensales). El personal muy profesional. La comida es excelente, buen producto, muy fresco, la única pega algo escaso, pero si te quedas con hambre vuelves a pedir. Eso sí, sí derrochas comida te cobran 2€ por pieza.
