Last October, this bar was still called Largos, i guess Pepe finally retired and sold up.
Fast forward to 2023, and the place has been gutted and refitted in a very clean lines stylish way, almost luxurious.
The new owners have got this sussed....
Very friendly and attentive staff who greet you in seconds of arriving and drinks on the table within 5 minutes
The menu is not overly complicated. I'm not sure if evenings have a different menu.
The food is exceptionally good value for money whilst being very tasty too.
It arrived swiftly.
We will return one evening this week to try dinner opposed to a light snack we have had so far.
As promised we did return on Tuesday evening and no change in the outstanding service levels. If a member of staff couldn't greet guests within 10 seconds the lady owner appears from nowhere to greet in person. Tables are shuffled to accommodate the amount of guests accordingly.
This time I had the chicken wings and fries from the starters menu and asked for a double portion of wings nothing is too much trouble.
I have had a lot of wings in my time and these without doubt are the best I have ever had in Spain ever, normally they are frozen deep fried twithin a CM of thier life and end up burnt dry, not here they are cooked to. Perfection with crispy skin and succulent meat inside and seasoned perfectly. Personally I like a spicy sauce so I simply stirred a few drops of tobasco in to the other wise tasty bbq sauce.
My wife had the chicken Poke dish with jasmine rice, red onion cooked pineapple and an incredibly great tasting Cajun sauce, she loved it and struggled to finish what was a very generous portion.
Tried the new draft beer which went down nicely, called Aguila Dorado
We have another week here and will be back again at least once at the expense of other...
Read moreWe had a lovely dinner last night. We ordered some calamari, pil pil prawns and goat cheese salad for starters to share and it was amazing! The goat cheese salad was unbelievable. Then we decided to go for the sirloin for all of us and we didn’t even need the knifes, that’s how soft and good it was . The flavor was wow! Definitely one of the best meat we had in Marbella. The home made alioli it was delicious aswell. About the service , we was served by Danillo and we couldn’t been more pleased with him . It was my father in law birthday and the waiters came singing happy birthday with a lovely tiramisu and candles on . The ambient it was very chilling with some nice music and a calid atmosphere with all the lights . We are definitely coming back very soon , very recommended for everyone that is looking for an enjoyable time. We all giving a 10 to this place. Congratulations to the owners , the experience was just perfect. Thank...
Read moreI love the San Pedro paseo maritimo for many reasons, and all thevthe lovely places to eat is onebof them. I found the food very good and service excellent. Not cheap but worth it. Delicious rose wine 16€ a bottle which is reasonable. Waiters were friendly and extremely accommodating. We ate sushi, gambas pil pil, rocket and goats cheese salad, brocheta con jamon y tomate and fried calamari, all of which were above average. The pasta with spicy prawns looked good too. We wanted a mango cheese cake to end the great meal, but it had finished, so we shared a tiramasu which was very tasty, not like the usual boring one. We were given a little drink on the house which is another plus for this restaurant. Few do that anymore. The only downside was the table next to us had a yappy dog which was most annoying. This was not the fault of this well run restaurant, just insensitive customers. I will definitely visit this...
