We didn't book so we're lucky to take the last table. After we sat down several couples came in and took take away. This says a lot about the food here. I had the a la carte menu for €17 My camambert starter was delicious and not too filling. For main I chose the sirloin steak, medium. It was cooked exactly how I asked and the chips were perfect. My husband ordered fish and chip's I ordered steak well done no blood and a peppercorn sauce. The meal came my husband was happy with his, my steak was bloody so i sent it back , they apologised then brought it back.It was still red so i sent it back again by this time my husband had just about finished his, 3rd time lucky the steak was cooked better and i was hungry just waiting on my pepper sauce 2 3 minutes went by so i asked the staff about the pepper sauce she apologised again 2 3 minutes went by again then out comes my pepper sauce. We had stopped going to Elliot's. Sorry. Anyway we heard this month (May19) that it had changed hands so we popped in for a drink and felt very comfortable so a few nights later we went for dinner. Well sound. Elliot's is well worth a visit again, the food is spot on and the service is very comfortable. Yes. Go. We will be.
