Restaurante Romano II — Restaurant in Medinaceli

Probably could be good if the service was better. I practically had to beg them to convince them to take my money. Apparently they're too busy to answer. Good for food/drinks. But like all service in Europe, terrible. I tried to explain in Spanish that I was foreign so I don't understand. But again, it's almost like they don't want tourists money. Poor treatment because I wasn't fluent in Spanish.

The croquettes we got were poorly made, but apparently the others beforehand were burnt. We waited forever, they never came outside to clean absolutely any of the tables. They have no organized service, everything is everywhere. When I asked to pay, the bartender asked the server, but it seemed like he didn't know or have permission to use the register. So I had to wait longer just to pay because she had to abandon her tables in order to help him charge me. Maybe there's no service outside, but they can at least clean tables for new guests. Their priority was bringing out new food, which I understand. But learn to designate people to certain parts of service. If.everyone does everything at a restaurant, then they complete nothing. Anyway, food...

Teníamos altas expectativas al entrar en este restaurante tradicional y acogedor, ubicado en un pueblo tan bonito como Medinaceli. Pero nada más lejos de la realidad. Desde el principio, el servicio dejó mucho que desear: la camarera confundió las bebidas, incluso después de haberlo repetido un par de veces. Sin embargo, el verdadero problema llegó al pedir la comida. La carta, ya de por sí bastante limitada, no se correspondía con lo que realmente ofrecían. De los platos disponibles, varios no estaban disponibles —incluidos algunos tan básicos como la ensalada de queso de cabra (que no llevaba rulo de cabra) y otras dos opciones más que preguntamos. La hamburguesa, que supuestamente era de ternera con queso de cabra, resultó ser de cerdo con una simple loncha de queso, y además, estaba completamente cruda. Al pedir que la cocinasen un poco más, simplemente la pasaron por el microondas, lo que la dejó aún peor. Los segundos platos otra cosa igual, el calamar crudo y las costillas de mala calidad. Ademas de tardar 45 min y quitándonos los cubiertos ,deseando q nos fuéramos? probablemente Todo esto acompañado por un trato muy poco profesional: malas caras, suspiros y respuestas borde cada vez que nos dirigíamos al personal. Salimos del restaurante enfadados y prácticamente sin haber comido bien. No recomendamos este sitio. Mucho más recomendable cualquiera de los bares de alrededor, especialmente El Cielo de Medinaceli, que tenía una pinta fantástica y en el que tomamos el postre que ven en la foto ya que nos fuimos sin tomar ni...

STAY AWAY! In February all bars and resto closed here. Now there is only 1 open at 10u30 and after asking for a coffee/ milk in Spanish, she dropped it at the bar and left. She came back later and said "Ya lo tienes", which meant "You already have it"...and I had to go to the bar to pick it up myself. Weird. This village is beautiful for a walk but a tourist trap with a disgust for visitors. I understand they hate tourists but dont open a bar for tourists then, "the dineros, ya...
