Easily the worst of our overnight stays on the Camino de Santiago trail. The room decor of ochre and brown was utterly depressing. The sourpuss receptionist turned up late to open up and serve breakfast - guests were waiting in the dark with no idea why there was no sign of anyone. Breakfast, when it eventually came was served piecemeal with no info.Toast took ten minutes to arrive, yoghurt ten minutes after that and fruit five minutes later. All served without a hint of a smile or apology. I went to buy croissants for everyone from the bakery opposite as there was no sign that we would be served anything. A bonding experience with our fellow Caministas was the only good thing about it. And why did she refuse to take any passport info when we arrived and try to register? A tax reason maybe? Hotel to Avoid if you can to stay😔 plenty of better hotels in this small town with similar prices. I don’t normal have low reviews but unfortunately this hotel is way below normal standard on this level of price range that everyone in my travel group disliked it so much. Location-a bit far from the town center and the town is rather small. Not updated place with lots of stairs. Above all, small and super cold rooms with no heating at all in the April and my friend almost got a cold after taking a shower. There is NO hair dryer in any of the rooms!😅 never 👎 bad customer service with negative altitude (very rare in Spain 🇪🇸) bare minimum breakfast and served with a fave when you ask for more coffee or tea. 👎So a No No. No wonder not many customers. I hope the owner will improve things for their customers...
