Freiduria villalba — Restaurant in Mijas

La comida está espectacular. De verdad. Riquísima. Crujiente, sabrosa y de muy buena calidad. Pero claro, eso si logras sentarte sin sentir que estás en una especie de Escape Room gastronómico versión contrarreloj… Fuimos cinco personas. Tres compañeras llegaron antes para coger mesa y empezar a pedir algo mientras llegábamos las otras dos. Tuvieron que pedir por la grandísima insistencia, ya que desde el minuto uno, no les dieron ni un sorbo de cerveza antes de soltarles (con bastante insistencia y cero sutileza) que tenían que pedir YA, que si faltaban muchas por llegar, que si hay gente esperando, que si la vida es corta y el boquerón más. Cinco veces vinieron a presionar. Cinco… Mis compañeras, incómodas. El trato, intrusivo y nada amable.

Cuando llegamos las dos que faltábamos, no nos tiraros la cerveza de puro milagro (y seguimos sin entender el mal estar, ya que las que llegaron antes ya estaban comiendo y consumiendo, por lo que da igual si las dos últimas aún no habían llegado…)

El local, eso sí, estaba a reventar. Muchísimo ruido, pero bueno, algo bastante normal en locales así.

Y lo mejor que aún habiendo comida en la mesa (que si…que quedaban 3 patatas…pero yo personalmente me las estaba terminando) sin preguntar, lo retiraron como si el local se fuera a incendiar….

Tres veces nos preguntaron si íbamos a pedir más. Spoiler: la cuarta no preguntaron, nos estaban echando ya.

Comida riquísima y precios geniales, pero aquí se viene a comer, no a estar. Ponte el cronómetro y no te encariñes con el plato.

Así que sí, le pongo un 3. Porque la comida es un 10, pero el...

Good place for everything fried out of the sea. The staff isn't exactly friendly but at least you don't have to wait for the service.

We enjoyed our food but the Fried Vegetables and Fish Plate is a joke. We found 2 shrimp and 3 pieces of fish on a huge plate of fried Paprika, Onions and Zucchini.

Gets pretty crowded so maybe you have to reserve in advance. The restaurant is located is in a strange alley and not very visible from the outside.

Overall the food was good. But only 3 stars for location...

This such a lovely fish ,,, hmm can't say restaurant,, as it's too small can't say cafe because it's more than just that. So there you go - you must go yourself and decide.

It's a sort of fish specialist, plenty of choice, all of which is cooked perfectly and served inexpensively. The bill is very pleasing

Directly behind and on the back door of the 'el cort de ingles' in Fuengirola it's easy to find and great for having a pint outside during the summer always busy, so...
