Badgers Restaurante - Burger Fiesta — Restaurant in Mojácar

Wow.....what can we say! My parents have just bought a villa in El Chopo (approx 30 mins drive). We've come out to test the new villa/area out 👌 My in-laws took our son for an evening meal a few days ago & couldn't shout their (all the staffs) praise enough. They were welcoming, kind, friendly & served beautiful food.

Last night all 7 of us called in for an evening meal, after a long day at the waterpark. Our 13 year old was suffering from intense stomach pain, a mix of drinking too much pop & we think dehydration. The lady with dark hair (sorry, didn't even ask your name) took him & gave him a drink that puts minerals & nutrients back in your system. She also gave me a sachet to make up when we got back to the villa. After having some more drink & a good sleep, hes absolutelyfine today. 'Thankyou so much' at no extra cost!

The food was amazing!!! Highly suggest the 'Juicy Lucy' burgers.

What an amazing restaurant, fantastic staff.....really can't recommend this place enough. We are gutted we only found you in our third & final week 😔 but I promise you, when we next visit, you will be one of the first places we come to!

I found the food disappointing and too high a price given the usual standard of food you can find almost everywhere in Spain. I had the "local favourite" homemade burger, the burger meat was itself very good but the burger was tiny and dwarfed by the size of the bread, the bread itself was bland and perhaps a bit stale, maybe it would have been nicer lightly toasted. The chips were clearly from a bag of frozen oven chips and not even cooked properly. The place was clearly understaffed, it was a Thursday in September and lots of people in the restaurant, and it took a long time for anything to happen. The waitress asked me if I wanted anything like ketchup or mayonaisse, frankly I expect these condiments at the table as a minimum without having to be asked! Especially when chips are so bland. There wasn't even any salt and the mayonaisse bottle I was brought was empty. I was too tired and hungry to complain at the time having driven a long way that day but I wouldn't...

Have not been for a few years due to health and moving back to UK, but, when my lady friend and i were holidaying in Mojacar we had a great time and found the food, service and the whole place very welcoming, the owner then was i believe an ex-football manager and he was great as were all the staff there, had Karaoke which all enjoyed and we went in every night we were there, met a lottery winner whose son was chef assistant. hope to get back there...
