Coffee house — Restaurant in Mojácar

We went to Coffee House based on the good reviews we had read, but the experience was quite disappointing. Service was very slow, and the waitress seemed completely disorganized with the orders. You have to make your own toast, which would be fine if the price matched the experience, but we found it quite expensive for what it is.

We waited a long time, and to make things worse, there was a mistake on the bill: they tried to charge us for 9 toasts when we had clearly ordered 8. The waitress insisted she had brought 9, and even after we counted everything in front of her, she still argued and refused to admit the mistake. It was a very uncomfortable situation. Eventually, she brought the corrected bill, but did so in a rude manner, almost throwing it on the table.

We asked for a complaints form and spoke with the owner, who was very kind, apologized, and gave us a small discount. We appreciated that, but honestly, we wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s overpriced and the...

As someone who regularly enjoys a good cup of coffee in London, when I came out to Mojacar for two months I never expected to find coffee even close to the level of quality that this place provides. They even have a wide selection of milk alternatives and flavoured syrups - something that I just couldn’t find in any of the other places that I visited. I always walk down to the end of Mojacar Playa and was very happy to see a new coffee house had opened. My first visit was for a coffee and I have to say it was the nicest coffee I have had in a long time. The service was so friendly.
