Since the call for the reservation the staff treated us poorly. Once we got to the place in time, the hospitality wasn't there, food was OK but it really tasted worse because of how we got treated. Moreover the "owner" showed lots of hostility for us strangers and was kind just with local people. We tried to order both a bottle of wine and a pizza, but both of the times we got our order rejected by the owner saying: "don't bother into ordering that, it's s*it anyways". We went here for lunch after river rafting, and they were able to seat us even though we didn't have reservations. Juan, our server was very friendly and helpful and he explained the dishes to us, even showing us the plates as he was bringing them to other tables. We had the oxtail and lamb, both were delicious. Posiblemente el mejor restaurante de Montanejos, local amplio y con 2 buenas terrazas, es un restaurante familiar con platos muy bien elaborados y con muy buena materia prima. Su plato estrella es el pulpo cocinado a baja temperatura, tú eliges el pulpo que te van a cocinar y son pulpos enteros, con pesos cercanos al kilo, por lo que son platos enormes para compartir entre varios comensales. Está buenísimo y cocinado de forma excelente. También muy recomendables sus croquetas caseras, riquísimas, recomiendo probar todas sus variedades y, por último, probamos el codillo al horno con patatas y su salsa, que se deshacía en la boca. Los postres también son caseros y muy ricos, la torrija que pedir excepcional. Por último, también tiene muy buenos vinos, algunos de la tierra. Lo único a mejorar es el servicio, estaba desbordado pues era las jornadas de el mercado del queso artesano de Montanejos y estaba lleno, faltaba algún camarero de refuerzo y tardaron muchísimo en servirnos la comida (aunque nos avisaron) y, también, ala hora de cobrarnos la cuenta.
